Tunisia: Marzouki Calls to Renounce Violence, Preserve Social Peace

Tunis — Candidate in the presidential run-off and Outgoing President Mohamed Moncef Marzouki called for "ending all forms of vindictive rhetoric in the current crucial circumstances, renouncing violence and working to preserve social peace."

Marzouki also expressed concern, on his official Facebook page, about the non-peaceful protests reported in some regions, in relation to the election results.
