Cairo — Libyan authorities requested the re-opening of the Salloum border crossing and resumption of truck movement between Egypt and Libya, one day after it requested its closure, al-Anany Hammouda, Matrouh security chief said on Tuesday.
Libya had cited its security situation as grounds for the closure of its northeastern border crossing with Egypt.
