Algeria: Fight Against Criminality - Four Arms Dealers Arrested, Six Rifles, Munitions Recovered

Algiers — Four arms dealers were arrested and six (06) rifles, a quantity of munitions and a mine dating back to the colonial era were recovered Monday in Tebessa by a detachment of the combined forces coming under the operational sector of Tebessa (5th Military Region), said Wednesday the National Defence Ministry in a communiqué.

"As part of securing borders and fight against organized criminality, a detachment of the combined forces coming under the operational sector of Tebessa (5th Military Region) arrested on 22 December 2014 four arms dealers and seized six (06) rifles, a quantity of munitions and a mine dating back to the colonial era as well as other objects," said the source.
