Angola: Police Chief Gets Informed About Citizens' Confrontation With Officers in Kwanza Sul

Gabela — The second general commander of the National Police, chief commissioner Paulo de Almeida, last Friday said that the individuals who set fire on the car of the Fire Service in Gabela, coastal Cuanza Sul Province, tried to take justice into their own hands and impaired police authority.

Chief Commissioner Paulo de Almeida said so after the meeting held with the vice governor for technical matters and infrastructures, António Teixeira Lopes Gama, local government members and officers of the National Police in order to find out the fact that led some citizens to rise up against the personnel of the National Police and Civil Protection and Fire Services.
