Algeria: Abdelatif Rahal Laid to Rest At Ben Aknoun Cemetery

Algiers — The former Algerian diplomat and diplomatic adviser to President of the Republic, Abdelatif Rahal, who died Monday at the age of 92, was laid to rest Tuesday at Ben Aknoun cemetery in Algiers.

The burial ceremony was attended by Speaker of the Council of the Nation (Upper House of Parliament) Abdelkader Bensalah, Speaker of the People's National Assembly (Lower House) Mohamed-Larbi Ould Khelifa, Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal, Minister of State, Principal Private Secretary at the Presidency of the Republic Ahmed Ouyahia, as well as members of the Government and political figures.
