Nigeria: Farmers to Contribute N5bn Worth of Yams for Buhari's Campaign

Yam farmers who are members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in nine states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have said that they would contribute five million tubers of yam worth N5 billion to donate as New Year gift to the party's presidential candidate General Muhammadu Buhari.

The farmers came together under the aegis of APC Micro Finance Cooperative Society Limited from Adamawa, Benue, Kaduna, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau, and Taraba states.
