Algeria: Council of Ministers Adopts 5 Presidential Decrees On Hydrocarbons

Algiers — The Council of Ministers examined and adopted five draft presidential decrees on hydrocarbons, during a meeting chaired Tuesday by President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika.

The draft presidential decrees are related to the approval of four agreements on the exploration and exploitation of hydrorcabons, signed between the National Agency of Hydrocarbon Resource Development (ALNAFT) and the national hydrocarbon company SONATRACH, and foreign companies, in addition to an amendment to a production-sharing agreement.
