Tanga — THE Pastoral Activities and Services for AIDS of the Roman Catholic Diocese (PASADIT) in Tanga is implementing the Thrive Project, a three-year initiative aiming at strengthening early childhood stimulation.

A 20-year study has found out that childhood stimulation is key to brain development. Martha Farah, Director of the Centre for Neuroscience and Society at the University of Pennsylvania, who led the study, wanted to find out how a normal range of experiences in childhood might influence the development of the brain.
