Four people died and two sustained serious injuries in a car accident that occurred at Nkeng-Likok on the Yaounde-Boumnyebel highway on Saturday January 3, 2015.
Eyewitness reports say a 57-seater bus with the number plate CE 605 FD belonging to the transport agency, Butrans Voyages, collided with a Toyota Avensis (CE 852 GH) at about 2:00 p.m. due to over speeding and wrong overtaking. The bus driver, Ngong Mbongono Denis, said he left Yaounde and was heading for Douala while two other vehicles; a bus belonging to Marathon Express and the Toyota Avensis were coming from the opposite direction.
