Gambia: Jammeh Picks Renowned Editor As New Information Minister - Neneh Macdouall-Gaye Bounces Back As Foreign Minister

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Sheikh Prof Alh Dr Yahya AJJ Jammeh has appointed renowned editor and publisher of The Standard Newspaper as the new Information, Communication and Infrastructure minister, the presidency announced Monday evening.

Editor Bojang, a former Daily Observer managing director, was appointed Monday, 5th December 2015 alongside another renowned broadcaster and former minister, Neneh Macdouall-Gaye as the new Foreign Affairs minister. She was a previous holder of Bojang's new portfolio for a few years before her deployment to Daily Observer as managing director, and subsequently, Gambia's ambassador to the United States in 2009.
