Liberia: Defeated Senatorial Candidate Calls for Withdrawal of Two Winners' Certificates

A defeated Senatorial candidate of Grand Kru County, Roseline Sneh, has called on the Supreme Court to ensure that the National Elections Commission withdraws the certificates of candidates who were declared winners in the election but are being challenged by their opponents.

According to the Liberia News Agency, Madam Sneh specifically called for the withdrawal of the certificates of Blebo Brown of Maryland County and Albert Chea of Grand Kru County who were among 12 senators certificated on Saturday, January 3 by the National Elections Commission.
