Somalia: IJA Sweeps Kismayo After Al-Shabaab Kills Two Soldiers

Interim Jubba Administration (IJA) forces conducted a sweep of Kismayo after an improvised explosive device exploded in the Gulwade neighbourhood Saturday (January 10th), killing at least two IJA officers and injuring four others, Somalia's Goobjoog News reported.

IJA official Colonel Abdifatah Moalim Noor said the operation intended to restore security to the area and to identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
