Liberia: Firestone Booked for Two Million Liability

The Resident Judge of the 13th Judicial Circuit Court in Kakata, Margibi County, has adjudged the management of Firestone Rubber Plantation liable for the sum of US$2 million as damages to be awarded to two persons.

The ruling grew out of an action of damages for wrong filed against the management of Firestone by Emmanuel Kollie and George Grisby as a result of injuries sustained by them by some officers of the Plant Protection Department (PPD).
