Liberia: 'Elected to Bear Fruit,' Prelate Reminds Senators

"When you do not bear fruit while in this chambers, you will be occupying space for nothing," the Chaplain-General of the Liberian Senate, Michael Holder, told 12 new senators Wednesday.

According to Holder, people are elected to bear fruit, but when they inherit self-pride and ignore God they will not succeed, adding," the more you try to avoid Him, the more you become less important and famous."
