Nigeria: Labour Tasks INEC On Voters' Cards' Distribution

KADUNA--ORGANISED Labour has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to quickly resolve the issue of Permanent Voters' Card PVC and other issues capable of undermining the electoral process across the country ahead of next month's general election.

Speaking in Kaduna, a Vice President of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and General Secretary, National Union of Textile, Garment and Tailoring Workers of Nigeria, NUTGTWN, Mr. Issa Aremu, insisted that all that the nation needed were the credibility of the electoral register, independence of INEC, the democratic behaviour of all the contestants.
