Sokoto — The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), on Thursday pledged to tackle insecurity, poverty, unemployment, bribery and corruption, if elected in the forthcoming general election.
This is just as Sokoto State Governor, Alhaji Aliyu Wamakko, rejected the call by the National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki, for the postponement of the forthcoming elections, saying the call was an admission of failure by the federal government and as such should vacate the seat and allow capable hands to take over the mantle of leadership.
