Nigeria: 2,000 Trek 32KM to Buhari Rally in Kebbi

Birnin Kebbi — Over 2,000 people mainly traders, artisans, farmers, okada riders and other businessmen abandoned their farms and businesses to trek 32 kilometers from Jega to Birnin Kebbi for the APC presidential campaign rally of retired General Muhammadu Buhari yesterday.

Some of them told our reporter after arriving at the Haliru Abdu Stadium, venue of the rally around 5:35pm, that they decided to abandon the luxury of using vehicles and walk from Jega town around 5:30am to express solidarity with Buhari.
