A primary school with a total of 671 learners in the village of KwaMbonambi in KwaZulu-Natal has asked African National Congress Member of Parliament Ms Nomacawe Mafu to help it to overcome some of its challenges.

Ms Mafu visited the Cwaka Primary School yesterday as part of her constituency work. She went to the school with a delegation of local leaders and met with learners, teachers and the school principal, Mr Jacob Msweli. He said issues that needed urgent attention were the fixing of the school's buildings and the fast-tracking of the process of handing over newly-built toilets for children and teachers. In the meantime, he added, the school was in dire need of mobile toilets.
