Nigeria: Boko Haram - HURIWA Asks Nigerian Government to Seek UN, AU Help

The Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIWA, on Sunday called on the Nigerian government to seek United Nations and African Union Commission's assistance to check the Boko Haram insurgency.

The association said the Nigerian government must "immediately" call for an intervention from the UN Security Council and the African Union Commission to end the activities of the insurgents.
