Nigeria: APC Says Stones Thrown at Jonathan's Convoy is Inside Job

Lagos — Officials of All Progressives Congress say an incident in which stones were thrown at a campaign convoy of President Goodluck Jonathan was the work of fifth columnists within the president's own Peoples Democratic Party.

But they said the president's APC rival Muhammad Buhari is seriously concerned about the incident, and his reaction is expected to be put on tape in Hausa before the end of Friday to be broadcast on radios across the north, urging people to understand the need for a peaceful election and not to ferment trouble.
