Malawi: MK3.6 Billion Needed to Replant Crops in 2014/15 Agriculture Season

The Malawi government has revealed that it will need MK3.6 billion to help farmers to buy farm inputs in the country to replant crops due to incessant floods that seriously affected the country.

The floods that led to Malawi head of state Arthur Peter Mutharika declaring a state of disaster destroyed a lot of farm hectares and livestock being washed away in the 15 districts of the country.
