Nigeria: Immigration Arrests 600 Illegal Immigrants in Anambra State

Awka — There was apprehension in the Anambra State Command of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) after the command arrested over 150 illegal immigrants, who have no residence permit or ECOWAS travelling certificate.

The command had earlier arrested and paraded over 400 illegal immigrants in Anambra State at different points in five local government areas of Awka North and South, Onitsha North and South and Nnewi North council areas.
