Liberia: Deputy Speaker Disclaims LACC Investigation

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Hans M. Barchue argued that the Liberia Anti Corruption Commission (LACC) is acquiring information by hearsay and gossips, but not through facts.

The Bassa County Lawmaker said the LACC should be mindful of the doctrine of Principal-Agent Relationship, which provides that "an agent is accountable to its principle for any act done in the name of the agency."
