Gambia: Defence Absence Hampers Ex-SG Bah's Trial

The abuse of office trial involving the state against Dr Njogou L. Bah, the former secretary general, head of Civil Service and minister of Presidential Affairs, Tuesday failed to progress at the Banjul Magistrates' Court, presided over by Principal Magistrate Dawda A. Jallow.

The case was set for the continuation of defence testimony by the accused. When the case was called, his defence Lawyer LK Mboge was also absent in court.
