Zimbabwe: Govt Says Ready to Risk Fifa Ban

GOVERNMENT says it is better for it to interfere in the running of football and have Zimbabwe banned by Fifa than to watch the popular sport crumble down under the leadership of Cuthbert Dube.

Sports deputy minister Thabeth Kanengoni-Malinga told parliament Wednesday that government was fed-up with the Dube-led Zifa which he said must go because it was running down football.
