Mozambique Orders More Patrol Boats

Maputo — The Mozambican government has ordered a further three HS132 interceptor patrol boats from the French company CMN (Constructions Mecaniques de Normandie), reports the defence industry on-line publication “Navy Recognition”.

This brings to 33 the number of vessels ordered by Mozambique from the CMN shipyard in the French port of Cherbourg. The others are 24 fishing boats (a mixture of trawlers and longliners), an initial three HS132s, and three Ocean Eagle 43 trimarans, which are also patrol boats.
