Cairo — An improvised explosive device (IED) exploded on the Fayoum-Wasty railroad on Thursday, halting train movement for over an hour, but leaving no casualties, a security official at Fayoum security directorate said.
Train movement was suspended until the area was combed and the damaged railroad tracks were repaired, the security official added.
