For the third time in the history of the Africa Cup of Nations, lottery was drawn yesterday afternoon in Malabo to hand a quarter final ticket to Guinea at the expense of Mali.
Both teams had tied on equal points and goal difference at the end of their 1-1 draw of Group D on Wednesday before resorting to the lot in accordance to CAF rule of the competition.
