Nigeria: Gombe and the Turn Table

It would seem that the table has turned full circle in Gombe State where a former governor of the state who during his eight years reign in the state was the one being accused of harassing the opposition is now the one alleging a ploy by the ruling party in the state to cause violence and to arrest him.

For some time now, various groups loyal to the governor have called on the national secretariat of the APC , the Inspector General of Police and the president to intervene alleging that there is a plan to arrest the former governor in order to pave way for the PDP to win the state.
