Tunisia: Caid Essebsi to AU Summit - 'Tunisia Determined to Renew Shine of Its Historic Bonds With African Countries'

Addis — ABEBA (TAPEX/TAP special correspondent Fatma Zourrig) - President Beji Caid Essebsi asserted that Tunisia, proud of its African belonging, is determined to regain its position, renew its prestige and the shine of its historic bonds with the Continent's countries, at the political, economic and cultural levels.

Taking the floor, Friday, at the 24th African Union (AU) Summit held, January 30-31 in Addis-Abeba, Caid Essebsi pointed out Tunisia's determination to work with the African countries to reinforce and diversify co-operation in the various fields and remedy the deficiencies of the previous years, which had impeded the establishment of a real and effective partnership.
