Nigeria: Customs Seizes, Destroys N13.5 Million Poultry Products At Seme Border

Lagos — The Seme Border Command of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has seized and destroyed N13.5 million worth of poultry product being smuggled into the country.

The destruction during the week was done through burial, after pouring caustic soda on the products to hasten decomposition and deter scavengers from digging them up for sale or consumption.
