Nigeria: Army, DSS Dispatched to Aba Over Election Postponement

A combined team of the Nigerian Army, the Directorate of State Security (DSS) and detectives from the Abia State Police Command have been drafted to Aba, the commercial nerve centre of Abia State, as part of measures to arrest any breakdown of law and order.

This is even as the Abia State government has warned residents and visitors in the city that security personnel would deal ruthlessly with any individual or group that creates crisis in the area.
