Eritrea: International Anti-Female Genital Mutilation Day Commemorated in Hagaz Town At National Level

Hagaz — The International Anti-Female Genital Mutilation Day was commemorated in Hagaz town at national level in which heads of the Health Ministry, line ministries, the PFDJ, national associations, religious leaders and invited guests took part.

During the observance, it was noted that the Day shoulders responsibility to the society to do away with harmful customary practices that victimiz females in particular.
