Nigeria: Polls - How U.S. Agencies Indicted INEC Over Bleak Operational Readiness

Abuja — Notwithstanding the reasons adduced by the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the rescheduling of the dates of the general elections, emerging facts from two Unites States international organisations, the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and the International Republic Institute (IRI) have shown how the Election Management Board made bleak preparations for the elections.

This is coming as a coalition of progressive political parties (COP3) warned against further shift in dates of the general elections, while faulting the security reasons adduced by INEC for shift the dates of the general elections.
