Ghana: Maiden Edition of BECE for Private Candidates Launched in Accra

The maiden edition of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for private candidates has been launched in Accra. In all, one thousand, one hundred and eighty-one (1,181) candidates are writing the examinations scheduled to be conducted from February 16 to February 20, 2015.

Addressing the media in Accra, last week, in connection with the examinations, the Minister for Education, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, urged all officials charged with conduct of the examinations as well as all candidates writing the examinations to conform to all the examination rules in order to ensure successful exercise.
