Zurich — Algeria has maintained its 18th position in February's FIFA world ranking, released Thursday by the international football's governing body, despite its elimination in the last eight of the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2015) wrapped up Sunday in Equatorial Guinea.
The Desert Foxes remain Africa's leader with 981 points, followed by the Ivory Coast (20th, 932 pts), which has taken over from Tunisia (26th, 860 pts) as Africa's second.
