Umuahia — ABIA STATE teachers have commended Governor Theodore Orji for promoting teachers en mass to their next grade levels and putting in place a policy that ensures a teacher can attain the topmost salary grade level of 17 which was hitherto, not the case .
The commendation was made on Tuesday evening when the State Dean of Education Secretaries, Mrs. Elizabeth Uhuegbu spoke at parley Orji held with heads of primary schools, Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) , the Integrated Trade groups and Nigerian Association of Small Scale Industrialists (NASSI) at the Michael Okpara Auditorium, Umuahia, the state capital.
