The High Court in Banjul, presided over by Justice Simon A Abi, last Thursday ordered for the Legal Aid Agency to provide a lawyer for one Assan Bah, who is charged with the offence of rape before the said court.
This development followed the accused person's assertion that he did not have the money to acquire the services of a lawyer to represent him in the case.
