Nigeria: JTF Destroys Seven Illegal Refineries in Bayelsa

Yenagoa — Operatives of the Joint Task Force in the Niger Delta, code-named 'Operation Pulo Shield' have destroyed seven illegal refinery camps in Southern Ijaw council area of Bayelsa State.

Joint Media Co-ordinator of the JTF, Lt. Col Isa Ado, who disclosed this in a statement on Monday in Yenagoa, said the operatives also arrested a suspect believed to be among the gunmen that attacked the security outfit's troops and carted away rifles at Shell location, Patrick Water Side, Bodo City in Gokona local government area of Rivers State early this year.
