Nigeria: Jonathan Restates Determination to Flush Out Insurgents

Yola — President Goodluck Jonathan has vowed that his administration will not rest until it flushes out the Boko Haram insurgents bedevilling the North-east zone of the country so that victims displaced by the Islamist group can return to their homes. The president made the disclosure yesterday at Fufure Local Government Area headquarters, Adamawa State, saying the present attacks on the insurgents would not stop until they are completely flushed out.

He said his administration was concerned about the plights of the victims of the insurgents, which informed the presidential initiative in the North-east, through the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
