New development goals and targets inspire collective action that leaves no one indifferent. This was topical at the launch of the 2015 Action Plan to enable the Economic and Monetary Community of Central African States, CEMAC, countries rise to expectation by doing more about alleviating poverty, inequality and climate change. The launch recently in Bamenda suggested working together for action that impacts.
The Integrate Youth Volunteer Foundation (IYVF) and partners took credit for organising the event in the CEMAC Sub-region. Ngwa Wilson Forbi, the IYVF Action 2015/Campaign Chief Executive Officer, CEO was in the chair as the ceremony handled issues of poverty, climate change and inequality, to children with disabilities. Curtains dropped on the launch with participants agreeing on common objectives, plans, framework of results and resources to support children with disabilities. It was also about legislation for coherent policy and legal framework for children with disabilities within the sub-region.
