Kenya: University of Eldoret Closed Indefinitely After Riots

The University of Eldoret was on Thursday closed indefinitely following riots by students demanding the removal of Vice Chancellor Professor Teresia Akenga.

A senate meeting resolved to shut down the college and students given half an hour to leave the university which has been hit by riots for the last three days.
