Tanzania: Synovus Media Partners Agatha Amata's Rave TV, Holds Retreat in Tanzania

The management of Lagos based marketing communications firm, Synovus Media, has disclosed that it has added a new cable television channel, Rave TV, to shore up its Nollywood movies platform this year. Apart from the new cable channel, the company operates on seven (7) television stations. These include; KSMC Kaduna, NSTV Minna, Borno TV Maiduguri, Rima TV Sokoto, Silverbird TV Network, CTV Kano and OGTV Abeokuta. The commencement of their new programme, Groove On, was also announced. It is expected to start running on television stations Pan Nigeria soon. Synovus, led by Mr. Michael Adedokun, unveiled this at this year's annual retreat in the East African country of Tanzania.

The trip saw the Management and staff as well as their families going to Tanzania from Monday December 29th 2014 to Monday, January 5th, 2015. The trip featured lots of activities, ranging from business meetings/workshops to guided tours and other recreational activities. The business meeting was hosted at the Serena Hotels, Dar Es Salaam. The management of the company, at the event, voted Mr. Timothy Ige as staff of the year 2014. It also voted Mrs. Olamide Akeju-Adekanye and Mr. Olumide Dawodu as the Best Dressed Staff of the female and male category respectively and staff of the year runner ups. All winners were celebrated with cutting of cakes among other gift items presented to them. The retreat also saw the Management and staff visiting several landmark areas in Tanzania. These include Zanzibar Islands, White Sand Beach, Stone Town, Slave Market, Former British Consulate, Palace Museum (Makumbusho Ya Kabri), Forodohani, and various shopping malls.
