The Consumer Price Index (CPI) has eased to 4.4% in January 2015 from 5.3% in December 2014, Statistics South Africa (Stats SA)announced on Wednesday.
This is the lowest the index has been since April 2011 when CPI stood at 4.2%. The market had CPI to come in at 4.5%.
