Liberia: Alpha Phi Alpha Distributes Medical Supplies

As the country continues to follow the Ebola preventive measures to reach zero new Ebola cases, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. has distributed medical supplies and Equipment to over eight Health centers in Montserrado and Lofa valued over US$ 100,000. Disclosing this over the weekend, the President of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., T. Nelson Williams, II said the distribution of these medical supplies and equipment is as a result of the call made by President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf last year, July when the outbreak of the Ebola started.

Mr. Williams noted that this was the first time in the history of Liberia that a fight against an invisible nature has come and intruded our nation but said even though the Government of Liberia did not have the capacity to fight this deadly Ebola virus, the men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. called on International partners for assistance to help fight the disease.
