Nigeria: Boko Haram - NUJ, Guild of Editors Accuse Military of Barring Journalists From Frontlines

Nigerian journalists cannot report the ongoing counter-terrorism war against Boko Haram by multinational forces first-hand because of military authorities' lack of good faith.

The leadership of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) and Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) told Daily Trust that unlike their counterparts in Niger, Cameroon and Chad who are embedded with their troops in the front lines, the Nigerian journalists had no such opportunity.
