AROUND 100 accounting and finance experts are set to meet in Dar es Salaam next month to digest crucial discussions on issues related to public finance management, a key pillar in a regional push fast-track growth and development in African countries.
The meeting, which is taking place under the umbrella of East and Southern African Association of Accountants General (ESAAG), comes against a back-drop of serious concerns coupled with corruption allegations over poorlyhandled public accounting and finance systems in many African governments.
