Enugu — Worried by the decline in the number of primary school teachers across the local government areas in the state, Enugu State government has announced its plan to recruit 5,000 teachers to fill existing vacancies.
Commissioner for Education, Professor Uchechukwu Okolo, made the revelation during the flag-off of Local Government Areas, LGA, Education Management Information System,EMIS, rollout in the state, supported by Education Sector Support Programme in Nigeria,ESSPIN.
