South Africa: Murder Accused Gets Double Life and 60 Years Imprisonment for Guest House Murders At Harrismith

The Harrismith High Court passed a heavy sentence to Pharaoh Mohne (32) of Malawi on nine charges regarding brutal murders and attempted murderers of the Pope family at Tweevley Guest House outside Harrismith during April 2014.

The Guest House trial started on Monday, 23 February 2015 to hear how Brian Pope (61) and his wife, Mathilda Pope(48) were brutally murdered whilst his son, Warren Pope and daughter-in-law, Marlene Pope were assaulted. Their two children aged five and 10 were not harmed but were left traumatized after the incident.
