Nigeria: MOSOP Alleges Fresh Plot to Blackmail Its President

Port Harcourt — Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People (MOSOP) has alleged a fresh plot by some unidentified persons to blackmail its President, Legborsi Pyagbara, by linking him with a group pushing for the resumption of oil production in Ogoniland.

MOSOP also called for the immediate and unconditional release of Freddy Ndigara, a journalist with the Rivers State Government and an Ogoni indigene, who was kidnapped in his community, Kaani, last Sunday.
